“Flow Vein"

It features two overlapping pieces of silk fabric, with the yellow silk printed a second time, cut, and re-patched together. This work symbolizes my life experience of reworking things over and over again, much like piecing together my past adventures that I lost track of. After recovering from my illness, I am finally moving forward toward a crystal-clear vision, represented by the blue sheer silk fabric on top. Silk is a delicate material that is suitable for all seasons, and it possesses a natural strength and stretchability. I hope to embody that flexibility in any situation, especially during challenging moments.
